I read alot of books about WLS. I seem to have developed a whole new library. I'm still trying to adjust to my new lifestyle; the more I know the more "powerful" I feel about succeeding. I am encouraged by learning of others experiences.

I have now accepted that this is a disease that I was powerless over and only through having WLS do I have power to change…
Is anyone ever embarrassed to admit that as a health care professional...you let yourself go so much that...you had to have WLS in order to save your life????
