Margaret Furtado, MS, RD, LDN of Johns Hopkins Medical Center, literally speaks volumes when it comes to nutrition after weightloss surgery. She has written two cookbooks to enrich the dietary lives in the WLS community. Margaret shares with us the pitfalls of diets, not following up with you health care providers. The life of the patient is further involved in twist because of relationship, and sometime emotional issues. She believes in the whole body not just the surgery. For over twenty years this lady has keep life in touch with nutrician after WLS.

2nd Annual Lighten Up Expo & Health Fair held Saturday, February 26, 2010 at the Georgia International Convention Center is a one of a kind educational expo. The Expo will inspire people to recreate their life in a healthy and physically active way.
