All consuming.
Have you noticed that obesity takes over your life. Everything revolves around eating, not eating, will I fit, will I be embarrassed and what can I wear to look smaller. I am sick of it. How about YOU!
That is precisely why I decided to have the surgery.
I am 3 months out from surgery. It has been an adjustment. I have had 3 fills and have good restriction. The adjustment part is the journey. Learning to eat in a new way is slow going. I thought I was good to go with the new diet. Yes, you still have to diet. The lapband is the tool to help you diet. My eyes are literally bigger than my stomach. If I am really hungry, I eat too fast and too much. Then I get the hiccups and feel like throwing up. I don't eat meat unless it is ground up. It won't go down without discomfort. Carbohydrates are not part of my vocabulary.
I don't crave them and so I don't eat them. These choices are mine not required. I am on 1000 calories a day.
It is great to see my toes again. My face is not as round. I am in a size 18. I am almost back into the one zees. I have lost 28 lbs.
